At least I am not posting a picture

Today we had a major breakthrough in Project Potty Training 2009. Most days, Henry will wait until he has been rediapered after his morning potty time to take care of his business. It is during this diaper change that I have recently started to no longer mask my feelings about how disgusting it is to change a dirty diaper of a THREE year old. I delve into a lengthy rant about how is it now time to use the potty because he is too old for diapers and I go down the list of reasons why in our house, the the toilet is the preferred recepticle for our leavings.

His reactions to my lecturing have ranged from him staring off into the distance with his finger on his chin, saying, "Hmm...I'm sure thinking about that", to staring intently at my face and asking, "Can I eat your eyebrows now, mommy?". But today during potty time after only 24 minutes and three reads of Planes, Trains, and Cars, Henry declared he was done and then called out, "Wow, there is a LOT in here, mommy!".

There was.

Hooray, Henry! That is very exciting. Is it telling that my word verification below is "tuard"?!

So, how did you answer the "eating your eyebrows" question? Did he get to try a tiny bite?

And, thanks for no picture.

Love,
Mormor
