You think you know someone
For example, earlier this summer, it took chocolate bribery from Kelsey to get him to go down a pretty tame water slide. Which wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the 18 month olds zipping by him left and right while he hemmed and hawed.
Yesterday, we went to an amusement park for the first time. So you'll have to forgive us for being amazed that not only did he point out the most thrilling rides for a kid his age, but wanted to go on them again and again and again. By our tally, he did the log flume (a three story vertical drop), the viking ship, a junior rollercoaster (a very real rollercoaster) three times, among other things.
Each time, he would up the ante, and each time, I would say "There is no way he doesn't burst into tears on this" Yet, he never did. More likely, he came bounding off the ride, yelling "Let's do it again!"
And I quote: "My favorite scary part was when we went down the high, high hill!"
Upon leaving, he pointed to the sky, and said "I want to ride THAT" (picture) below:
Uh... yeah. Maybe next time.
