A healthy obsession

The payoff for all the poopy diapers, the bout with RSV, coming home every single day from work to soothe a colicky baby, etc, has come for me.

Henry is obsessed with me.

When I leave his sight, he hollers "Dah-DEE!?"

When he sees me, he yells "Dah-dee, dah-dee, da-dee!"

When Kelsey picks him up from school he asks "Dah-dee?"

I mean, it's a little unreal. The past two weeks, he's just decided to be all about Daddy.

Seriously, you need to video record some of these sessions. Then in about 12 years, you can play them for him. When he storms out of your presence, you can reminisce about the good old days!

"Remember Kelsey, when he was such a sweet little boy!"

I am not implying he will not be so sweet, just different.

I wish we had cam corders about 28 years ago!

So sweet! You better watch out though, Kelsey is pretty competitive - she might start throwing some bows!

Don't worry Kelsey there will be a mommy phase at some point and especially for this lucky little boy who has been blessed with a great mommy. All phases are wonderful, just different.
